AHMED EL-HAMLAWY

I graduated from the Helwan University, Egypt in 2005 with a Bachelor degree in Architecture and Engineering. I Worked as an architect in several architectural firms in Egypt for 5 years, during this time I gained good experience in designing and developing design ideas, creating construction documents from initial phase to the whole package, and fellow up with contractors to insure a good quality of construction, these experiences led me to work with SACODECO, one of a large construction companies in Saudi Arabia, for nearly seven years. During my work for SACODECO, I gained experience in dealing with big scale projects such as Airport, Skyscrapers, Universities and Hospitals, my portfolio is showing some example of these projects. I was a team lead of a group of architects and drafters producing shop drawings, coordinating with other disciplines, solving conflicts and making sure my projects are in good progress. through my success in doing these tasks I got promoted to a senior architect charged with design as a main task. and a project manager charged with the Jeddah Tower project (World's Tallest Tower). During this time, I interacted with different international consulting companies and firms such as Adrian Smith+Gordon Gill Architecture, ATKINS, HBA Designs, Areen Design, Dar Al-Handasah, Perkins+Will, and learned different methodologies of design and construction, as well designing with the international building code and the how to create specifications. This portfolio is a media to illustrate some of my work experience and to give a clear idea about my skills.
